Last summer, I wrote an article about an evangelical church in Boise, Idaho that grew more than 20,000 pounds of food in one season on less than a half acre of land. My research got me thinking, what would happen if every house of worship in America grew food in some form? Let’s find out.
We're doing a community garden for a South Florida neighborhood and we have some homeless men who grow food there. We are just wrapping up an expansion project that includes an urban food forest where we will help to feed hungry people for decades. Additionally we hope to share some of our permaculture techniques with missionaries at a Haitian orphanage that we support.

It's great seeing a blog focusing on this subject.
