God bless windy days for their ability to clear our our trees of dead, loose branches that we can use for other purposes.
Like this buried biggie, which I plan to manipulate into one or two spokes of a pyramid-style bean trainer for the summer. See all the sticky-up branches? They're attached to a solid beaut of a beanpole-in-waiting.
Oh, and God - I feel the need to thank you, while I'm praising windy days, for letting that branch drop helpfully to the ground, as opposed to, oh I don't know, on my car or through my window. Mighty thoughtful, that.
