In the category of elevating mundane moments into joy-giving sparks, there might not be anything simpler than the feeling of walking out of the post office. You walk in burdened--with a cumbersome box, some stuff you have to figure out how to package, the realization that you're almost out of stamps. And you walk out free, light, unencumbered, having left your parcels in the hands of someone who will get them where they need to go.
I'm just saying. It's a nice feeling. Can you tell where my lunchtime walk just took me?
