A very encouraging thought, John - I'd have to do some serious sealing work to fill the gaping chunk that fell off the pot, though. I'll keep you posted, thanks!


My comment: leave it the way it is, with the possible exception of mitigating further damage by sealing up the exposed area. 30 years from now - when you think you've forgotten all about it - you'll be planting herbs in that pot, and you'll turn to Rob and say, "Remember that winter..."
